Hellstead Manor, a top 10 must see haunt in Pennsylvania, is back for its fifth season of fear with terror lurking around every corner, beginning Friday, September 18 at 7 PM, and continuing every Friday and Saturday through October 31st. Admission to the haunt is $27, and can be purchased in person or online HERE.
The tour begins inside in the Manor where the curious witness the horrifying outcome of a failed experiment by Dr. Halstadt. The poisonous gas cloud he created infected those living in the house at the time, and caused body altering mutations. Only a handful of guests will be allowed in at a time to avoid mass group contamination. Then journey through the newly expanded Wretched Woods to meet the early settlers that called the hills behind the Manor their home. A group of believers who felt that instead of taming the land, they should become a part of it and devolve into the plants and animals who lived there before them. Learn their history and see the different sects that broke off into parts of the woods as time passed. Once escaping the terror of the haunt grab a pint of “Hellstead O Negative” at our Brew-Garten presented by 2 Dogz And A Guy Brewery, to settle your nerves.
To ensure the safety of our guests, while still providing quality entertainment, Hellstead Manor is taking all Covid-19 social distancing and sanitization precautions into practice. Upon entry guests will receive a complimentary mask and will have access to sanitizing stations throughout the haunt.
“I am so glad to be opening for our 5th season of Hellstead Manor during this trying time.” Says Eric Lusk, owner and creator of Hellstead Manor. “We have gone through great lengths to ensure the safety of our guests and staff while not compromising the entertainment experience at The Manor. I cannot wait to unveil the frights in our newest expansion. I hope you are ready to experience a whole new level of terror.”

“…In the centre of the gardens, where now was left only that fragment of ruin. This house had been empty for a great while; years before his—the ancient man’s—birth. It was a place shunned by the people of the village, as it had been shunned by their fathers before them. There were many things said about it, and all were of evil. No one ever went near it, either by day or night. In the village it was a synonym of all that is unholy and dreadful.”
– William Hope Hodgson (1877-1917) from The House on the Borderland
